What’s in the Box?
We didn’t get a chance to try out the full retail version of this product just the OEM version so we headed on over to ASUS’s product page to find out what exactly you get for your cash. The ASUS V8170DDR comes with ASUS DVD 2000 S/W player and 3D bundled games (AQUANOX, Midnight GT and Games Showcase). You also get OpenGL 1.3, DirectX 8.0 and NVIDIA reference drivers on the installation CD. As expected with a budget range card it doesn’t come with many added features apart from a video out port (TV-out Connector supplied) which is good for putting your games on a bigger screen.
