ASUS V9900 Ultra GeForce Fx Review
ASUS V9900 Ultra GeForce Fx Review

Asus’s V9900 Ultra graphics card is the latest high performance graphics card from this leading Taiwanese hardware manufacturer. Based upon NVIDIA’s latest GPU, the GeForce FX 5800 Ultra, the card aims to deliver the quality of CG cinematic films in real time form to the PC. NVIDIA’s GeForce FX chipset is undoubtedly an overdue technology in today’s video card market and now with ATI’s persistent success this once dominating graphics card company is finding it even harder to pull away from the competing edge of company’s such as ATI. Although that many fundamental reviews have already shown a large majority of the consumer market that ATI’s Radeon 9800 has an edge over a card that was expected to take the lead in the performance ratings lets not forget that the GeForce FX still holds many promising features over that of the Radeon 9800 which is simply a hyped up version of its predecessor, the Radeon 9700. It is inevitable that the Radeon 9800 will fall to NVIDIA’s eagerly anticipated and soon to be released GeForce FX 5900 chipset and when it does it will be up to ATI to show us what else they have in store! Probably now isn’t the best time to go looking for a graphics card upgrade as the market now is at an pivotal point were video card manufacturers are coming out with bigger and better things in such a close proximity time frame. Whilst NVIDIA get ready to unleash the GeForce FX 5900 ATI probably won’t be too far behind with a rival product. Your best bet would be to wait for the GeForce FX 5900 and then get a GeForce FX 5800 Ultra when prices should go down.

Asus’s V9900 Ultra is a product for enthusiast gamers and professional artists unleashing speeds up to three times faster than the GeForce 4 Ti4600 and provides a new level of creativity and visual entertainment to the PC. The Asus V9900 Ultra will provide users with true competitive performance in today’s modern 3D applications and future next generation titles.
